AC Meeting Minutes – May 2, 2017

• • Spring Fling at Seymour’s Pub with Silent Auction

• • • Special Thank You to Hecel Peakman
    • Over 100 attendees!
    • Thank you to everyone who donated and participated – you made our event a success!!
    • 1 Outstanding Basket & unused Gift certificate from Roll Jiu Jitsu, spin classes and others to be used for an auction on Fun Day.
    • For next year – explore cheaper ticket printing options, ensure silent bids are increased in increments of $10, Send out request for bottles of wine earlier (50 needed) have a photographer on hand.

  • Fundscrip – Email will be sent out May 3rd
    • Forms available on PAC Box
    • May 17th – deadline for submission
    • Will collect entire earnings from the year after this submission
    • over $500 in funds raised at last check

• • Kindergarten Orientation (Thu, May 18th, 11am)
    • Roxanna to attend and collect Names / Email addresses

• • Fun Day (May 19th) All to be confirmed with Jodie Schafer
    • McDonalds offer to be discussed – no
    • Pizza from Fresh Slice suggested (Prices tbc) Tooney lunch including a slice of pizza, bottle of water, fruit and freezy (Small ones, not large ones cut in haLf)
    • Tooneys to be collected in advance  – email will be sent out May 3rd
    • Sell Kristine’s Snack Bags at Fun Day
    • Speak to Save on Foods regarding Bouncy castle & fruit – Tara

    • Will be offered towards the end of the 2017 (next academic year) when most of the grade 6’s are 11 years old, as St. John’s prefers 11 year olds complete the course

  • Planning for 2017-18
    • PAC Executive budget/activity planning Wed, May 17 (tentative)
    • School is looking for donations of garden tools
    • Salmon will be released on Friday by K & Ms Meule’s Grade 3 class.
